Christmas Wreaths and Garland-Where to Buy, 2020

I posted a quick view of our garland in the kitchen this year via an Instagram story and had some messages asking where it can be purchased.

I’ve quickly put together a list of 3 retailers you can purchase garland and wreaths from this holiday season. I used my phone for most photos and there isn’t any staging; I wanted to do some quick shots to post before items sold out!

Here is the cedar garland wrapped about our stairs.

  1. Canadian Tire- Cedar Garland, prelit 9-ft

Price: $49.99 although I believe the price has since gone up to about $63

Picked up our garland earlier this month at our local Canadian tire. If it’s not in stock at your store they might be able to order it in from another but no guarantees. Also note that the led lights are a warm color. I nearly cut off the battery box assuming they’d be a cold blue tone and I’m so glad I hadn’t. You do need to shape the garland and when I wrapped it around my stair railing, I found a few pieces had fallen off. Overall, great for the price. They also have matching cedar light up wreaths.

2. Chapters Indigo- Cedar Wreath 24”

Price: $49.99

Earlier in the month, during a 30% off sale, I picked these up and used my Plum rewards for an additional 10% off, they were around $35 each including tax. There are also Cedar with Berry, and Pine with Pinecone, wreath options. I did find that the actual wreath isn’t as full when you receive it, the greenery tends to relax but you could use some wire to pull it back in for a fuller look. I purchased these for above the kitchen stove, above our mantel, and for each of our indoor windows at the front of the house.

Cedar wreath in our kitchen above the stove. Taken today on this very dreary and rainy morning. Not the best lighting for photos but you get the idea!

3. Anthropologie- Cedar Garland - 6ft

Price: $68.00 (USD plus shipping)

Ordered two of these for our mantel in early November so I’m waiting for them to come in before I do a proper review. They have them year after year and they look to be quality so I decided to give them a go. I don’t know that I would buy multiple given the price point but for a few feature areas I’m hoping they’re worth it.

I know it’s early to be Christmas decorating but this year felt a bit different and we’ve been enjoying the holiday light, cheer and warmth, the decor has added. I might do a full Christmas house tour this year or I’ll combine my photos from our first Christmas at the farmhouse to pull it all into one post.

If you have any questions about the wreath or garland, please let me know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to pop in today. Hope to see you again soon,
